TO THE MAT is our main fundraiser of the year.   

 

 

All funds raised are used to directly support the program, including tournament entry fees, uniforms, wrestling mats and gear.   

 

Did you know?

  • Varsity tournament entry fees are typically $650.  Whole team tournament fees average $800-$900.  Klein ISD provides just $120 for each varsity tournament.  JV is even less.  Booster Club fundraising helps cover the rest of the fees.

  • The school district provides just $3000 every 5 years for uniforms and practice gear.  These uniforms are worn 40+ times per season.

  • KC Wrestling involves travel, community outreach and equipment care and maintenance.  Replacing mats is a necessary expense and a near-term goal.

  • Each year, KC Wrestling Booster Club supports opportunities for wrestlers to increase their skills, their mindset and their success.
