MEET OUR COACHES

Head Coach: Coach Michael Hamilton

 

I am Coach Michael Hamilton. I have had the privilege of being at Klein Cain my entire teaching career and coaching the Hurricanes for 5 years.  My favorite moment in wrestling is repeated every year at graduation. That final high-five before the seniors cross the stage is always bittersweet.  Mission accomplished!  
 
The newly minted seniors exit with life skills learned from the unique challenges that wrestling presents.  The current Hurricanes and future Hurricanes see the results possible when you keep moving in our program.
 
This season I am looking forward to coaching alongside Coach Grantom as we continue to educate and graduate leaders who happen to be great wrestlers and even better people.
 

Assistant Coach: Coach Garrett Grantom

 
 

Hello everyone, Coach Grantom here.  This will be my first year coaching at Klein Cain High School.  Previously I coached at Westside High School, where we had a successful program with several state placers and finalist. 
 
I hope to see the success grow at Klein Cain High School by applying my knowledge of the sport that I've accumulated over the course of my own wrestling and coaching career.
 
I am looking forward to coaching with Coach Hamilton this year and pushing the athletes to do the best they can, both on and off the mat.
